Education
Augusta USD 402 offers small class sizes and
all-day kindergarten at four neighborhood K-5
Elementary Schools. Parents can monitor their
child's progress through online PowerSchool at all
grade levels. Middle School and High School
learning occurs in the classroom and through award
winning student programs and activities. The
district has outstanding athletic teams and
facilities and is the largest Class 4A in the Ark
Valley/Chisholm Trail League Division III.
Alternate learning programs for students in Grades 6
through Adult are provided at the Augusta Learning
Center.
St. James Catholic School is Butler County's
only Catholic School and serves grades Pre-K through
5th Grade. Small class sizes and character education
are the foundation of these classes. The school is
located at 1012 Belmont Avenue in Augusta.
